Opening file locations in Windows explorer

New member | Level 2
New member | Level 2

Where I can vote for making opening file locations in dropbox as easy as it used to be?  Dropbox has hidden away their feedback forms, so I will be littlebit bitter here.

I right click DB icon on notification area. Menu appears where "Open in dropbox" opens file location in windows explorer. It works only when you change the preferences. Why slow down the work progress. Do DB really thinks that their file explorer is better and everyone should learn to manage files in there?
Is it somehow better for moneywise to have worse UX? I see it in many places. Like google search image results layout change.

Hey @MaitL, as you’ve already mentioned, you can now change the app Preferences accordingly thus opening your files on the Windows Explorer if you prefer this instead of the new desktop application. Even so, I appreciate the time you devoted to detail us your thoughts & I’ve now made sure to include your observations in my report internally as your feedback helps us better understand your needs.

Please let me know if there’s anything else I could do for you & I’ll do my best to check back with you on this on our conversation here. Thanks!
