Other users can't see shared documents: Due to possible renaming of the folder?

New member | Level 2

I recently changed the name of a large folder two days ago and now the other users on that folder cannot see new documents that others are dropping in. When I look at my account I see that many files are still syncing.  Could this be the reason why those documents are not showing up? Is there anything else I need to do (other than wait) before other users gain access to any new docs or folders?

Hi @Eric_YES, thanks for messaging the Community!

Sometimes, when a folder has many files inside, when renaming the folder, it can take time for the changes to sync to the Dropbox site.

I’d recommend checking the bandwidth and increasing the limits to see if this helps get the folder to sync faster to the site, and therefore for it to sync to the other users.

Let me know how it goes!
