Out of space message even after removing all files from Dropbox, what can I do?

I have literally deleted permanently every file in my drop box and have no shared files or folders, yet dropbox is telling me I'm out of space and need to upgrade. WTH?

Hey there @timrevolved, I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with this!

 

Can you let me know where you're getting this message that the account is full? Eg. from the desktop app, mobile app or online?

 

If you check your plan page online, what storage usage do you see there?

 

Let me know and we can go from there!
