PDF quality appears downgraded in web browser

PDF quality appears downgraded in web browser

New member | Level 2

Hello,

I was wondering if anybody could help.

When I view PDF files on Dropbox in my web browser (I've tried Chrome and Edge) the quality of text and images appear to be downgraded. If I download the PDF from my Dropbox and open it in Acrobat it appears at the original higher quality.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Regards,

Christopher

Hey @Studio201, thanks for reaching out to us here!

As you mentioned, the quality of the file does indeed stay the same as when you download and open the file, it appears as expected.

You may see a difference on the website when you're just previewing the file.

The preview may appear with a lower resolution, to allow faster loading of the preview itself. This however doesn't affect the actual file.

Let me know if this helps clarify the matter!
