Photos: "Waiting for internet connection..." despite being online (Android)

Photos aren't uploaded despite being online.

Phone: Samsung Galaxy S20

Android: 11

Dropbox: 218.2.2

Any idea what's wrong here? Is it a bug? Is there something I can do about it?

Thanks for reaching out @aioobe, let's see what we can find!

Can you try clearing the mobile app's cache, to see if that does the trick? You can do this by:

1. Open the Dropbox app.
2. Tap the menu icon in the top left corner.
3. Choose "Settings".
4. Towards the bottom, tap "Clear cache".

If you're still getting the same message please try restarting your device too if you haven't done this recently.

I restarted the phone and the issue does no longer reproduce. So unfortunately I can't help you diagnose this bug any furthter.

I will have too leave this bug report as is, and maybe someone else comes along with the same issue, that can provide you with more details.
