Problem editing images with iphone

I am having a problem selecting images once they have been added to the document. It seems quite temperamental, what is the actual process for selecting an image? I’m having difficulty using any of the formatting of the image as a result?

Hey there @Scottie1514 - how are you today?

I'm not seeing any issues with uploading and formatting pictures within my Paper docs as I was just able to upload a photo with no problems. After uploading it, I tapped on it to select it and the formatting options appeared on my screen as per the photo's size and alignment. 

Therefore, to better troubleshoot your Paper mobile issue with selecting images within your Paper docs I'll need some more information:

  1. What device model are you using? (iPhone 7, Samsung Galaxy 8, etc.)
  2. What operating system you are running? (iOS 8.0, Android 7.1, etc.)
  3. What version of the Paper mobile app are you currently running?
  4. Please describe the problem in as much detail as possible.
  5. If you feel comfortable, please provide me with a link to the Paper doc you're having issues with or screenshots to depict the problem you described.

Thanks for the response Walter, here is the answers to your questions -
1 iPhone XR
2 IOS 12.3.1
3 150.2
4 it is not possible to move or format pictures sometimes on the iPhone, I can do it on the MacBook but I’m also struggling to resize them? The pictures simply don’t select when pressed on the iPhone!....so none of the formatting boxes are available!
5. Could send invite to the edit the document if you private message me
