Problem syncing some files

Most of my Dropbox files sync properly.

But for the last weeks Dropbox shows a message "Syncing 408 files. 1 sec" and never progresses beyond that. 

How do I find which files seem to be problematic?

Hi Charles, have you tried navigating your Dropbox folder to follow the blue syncing icon to see which files are trying to sync? Are they all in the same folder?
 
Have you tried rebooting your device to see if this helps?

Hi Charles, have you tried navigating your Dropbox folder to follow the blue syncing icon to see which files are trying to sync? Are they all in the same folder?

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I had tried rebootting.

I traced the blue icon as you recommended. It turns out the person who had shared a folder later moved it to an inaccessible location so my device was unable to sync.  I no longer need access them, so deleted the folder & files. 

Sync is working well now.

If you are having syncing issues then it would be best to let us know a little more info about your particular situation so that we can assist more accurately. Such as:
 
  • Current sync status of your desktop app
  • Screenshots of any error messages (excluding any personal info)
  • The version of the desktop app you have installed
  • Are you not seeing syncing across devices or between a device and website?
