Hello there,

For mistake a friend add me as a member on his account. Then he removed me. Now i cannot have access to my account - i cannot reset my account - i never receive the email with link from dropbox to reset password and account - and my files have been deleted from local dropbox folder.

 

How can I reset and have access to my account?

 

(chat - dropbxo support nothing respond to me \)

Was this a Business team that you were invited to? If so, when you joined the team your account would have been merged into the team account, basically making your friend the owner of your account. When your friend removed you from the team, your account would have been deleted. Instead, he should have converted your account back to an individual account.

 

If this is the case, you need to contact your friend as soon as possible and ask him to restore your account. He only have seven days to do this from the day the account was deleted. After the account is restored, he can convert back to an individual account.
