Problems with granting access to files.

Hello everyone! I have been using the DropBox application for a long time with the usual free version and still cannot understand why it prevents me from providing access to files for other users. Why, when I try to generate a link to a file, the application says that I do not have access? What does it mean? Why Yandex disk and Mega do not have such problems, I selected the file and chose from the context menu - grant access and that's it. It needs some kind of email addresses and names. all this makes work very difficult. I think to go to the cloud on Mega, there are no such problems and there is more room.

Also, are you trying to create a shared link to a folder that you own?

Greetings! Are there any restrictions on link building on the free plan? Why does the program not allow me to create links to files and folders if I am the owner of a Dropbox account?

Sorry, but I do not understand what box are you talking about? About my mailbox [personal information removed as per Community Guidelines]? Or some other?Where can I go to see what to do next? Prompt or discard the link to the answer.

We can only send a ticket to the email associated with your Community profile, for security purposes. 

Could you have a look at your Spam folder as well, in case the ticket went there?
