Random jpegs appear in folders containing mp3s

Just recently I notice that folders that contain mp3 files (home recordings, not commercial tracks) have aquired jpegs - they appear to be an attempt to associate album art with the track name. When I check the provenance of these, it says that they were uploaded by me. They were not uploaded by me, and are not pictures that have previously existed on my computers. How do I stop this happening? In each case they are shared folders.

Many thanks

Mike

This isn't a Dropbox issue as Dropbox has no such feature. It's most likely coming from whatever application you're using to play the tracks.
