Re-setting "Delete Everyewhere"

New member | Level 2

How do I reverse "Delete Everywhere"? I believe I may have selected "Delete Everywhere" and "Do not show this again" but now my circumstances have changed--I'm looking at deleting all of the files off one laptop, but I don't want to delete them everywhere. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hey there @bill_kelter

The option to "delete everywhere" refers to deleting the content you chose for that one time only.

Having said that, if you've accidentally deleted content, try following the steps here to recover your files

Finally, if you'd like to remove folders from your Dropbox folder but not from your Dropbox account, you can selectively sync it.

You'll still be ablet to access it through the website or, should you ned the folder locally on your hard drive again, you can choose to sync it again later on following the same steps.

I hope this helps!
