Hi,
We accidentally deleted some files at the end of August (2020) and it's only just came to light.
I can see as we have a free account the files cannot be recovered (30 days only).
If we upgrade the account, is there any chance of recovering this files or are they gone forever?

I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but you can only restore files within your account's recovery window.
Upgrading also won't affect this, as it's not retroactive.
Is there any chance you had the files or a copy saved in another location on your device?

Hi everyone,
I deleted some files from dropbox 2 months ago, so I can't retrieve them with a standard dropbox account. If I upgrade to Pro NOW, will I be able to recover files from November 2019?

I moved your post here, where another user asked a similar question.
As I mention before, upgrading to another subscription won't affect the restoration window of the files, as it's not retroactive.
Is there any chance that you had a copy of these items elsewhere on another device?
