Hello,

Can you help me recovering permanently deleted files?

My employee shared some files on dropbox and is now no longer working at the company. It is standard procedure to delete the gmail account after an employee leaves which is what happened here as well.

After deleting their gmail account, I have now noticed that all the shared files are also missing; I did not know this would happen. Is there anyway to recover these files?

Hi @BM9; welcome to our Community!

While it's not quite clear how deleting their email address could affect their Dropbox files, if those files were permanently deleted, I'm afraid we won't be able to help restore them from our end. 

Let me know if I'm missing something here.
