Remove wrong email from shared options

Hello. I typed a wrong email address when I wanted to share a file. Now, that email address is shown as proposal every time I want again to share a file. Is there any way to get rid of it? Thanks!

Are you on a mobile device perhaps, Eduard? 

 

In any case, if you're not seeing the option to upload a file in your reply's box here, you could share a link to it instead.

Hi again Walter.

Yes, I was connected via a mobile phone. Let me know is the below link works:

Under green highlighted section below ‘Can edit’ there are several email addresses shown based on the characters I entered as ‘Send to’. So, there is a wrong email address which I was somehow to get rid of it from that list.

Thanks for the visual assistance on this one @ekc7us; much appreciated.

 

Since these are visible in the iOS app, could you clear the app's cache and let me know if it helped at all?


1. Navigate to the “Personal” tab
2. Tap the gear icon in the upper-left corner of the screen
3. Select “Clear Cache”

 

Once this is done then please ensure you log out of the Dropbox application, then restart your device and log back in again.

 

If the wrong emails show up after that again, it means they've been added to your contact list when you tried to share with them and you may need to clear your contact list altogether.
