Restore a shared folder that "has been removed" by the owner

Hello,

 

I received a notification saying that a shared folder has been removed. It was a folder shared by another person but I can edit. I wonder if there is a way to restore it or save a copy on my end? Thanks!

Hello there @kl9, thanks for checking in. 

 

It sounds like the owner unshared the folder or removed your access. 

 

Just to make sure we cover as much ground as possible, could you have a look at your Share tab to see if it's there?

Hi Lusil,

 

Thank you for your reply! I checked the link you sent and did not see that folder. Does it mean I lost access for good and there is no way to get anything back?

Hi @kl9, it sounds like the shared folder has been completely removed from your account.

 

The only way to regain access is to ask the owner of the folder to re-invite you back to the folder, so you can then add it back to your account.
