Restore files isn't working

Restore files isn't working

I have tried this in both Edge and IE, on Windows 7 and 10.

When I try and restore files and folders in the web interface, it says restoring but nothing happens. If I go back to the list of files they remain deleted.

Thanks for getting back to me here @tim1889!

If it was a large deletion then this could be why there was a delay when restoring them. It may be that the process took a while to complete on the back end.

I'm glad to hear that you restored your files though. Please feel free to give me another nudge if you have any other questions.

Cheers!

Hey @tim1889, thanks for posting!

Since you've already tried using another web browser, can you let me know if you have the same behaviour with an incognito browsing window? What about after clearing the browser cache?

If you're still not able to restore them, can you please check what actions are reported for these files in your Events page here when they were deleted?

Let me know how it goes!

Thanks.

I have an event saying the files were restored, but timed two hours after I posted my message about the restoration failure.

It now looks like the files were restored but it took a very long time after restoration completed for them to appear.

The odd thing is that is was only a few MB.

Still all is well now.
