I have filed tickets about this, but the tickets get closed without any response, which is quite frustrating. I had 2FA set up with an old phone number, and so had trouble accessing my account for a while. I still wanted to keep the account active (even though I couldn’t access it), so I changed my password and tried to show I was attempting to access the account.
Is there any way that files can be retrieved after an account is marked for deletion? Has anyone had luck with this? There were a lot of family memories in my account, and any insight would be much appreciated.

Unfortunately, unless you can authenticate your account with your 2FA device, you won't be able to gain access to the account or retrieve its contents without the emergency backup code(s) you were given when you activated 2FA.
