STOPPING AUTO PHONE CAMERA UPLOADS

 Can someone please help me with this very basic question - when I charge my iphone through my laptop my phones camera files are automatically uploaded to dropbox and are eating up space on my laptop hardrive....how do I stop my iphone camera files automatically being uploaded to my dropbox account?

Hey there @HAZE1 - how are you today?

All you have to do is disable the camera uploads feature from your desktop app's preferences (in the "Import" tab) by following the steps outlined in this Help Center article: 

https://www.dropbox.com/help/photos-videos/camera-uploads-overview

I have the same problem. Using wondows 10. what I did, following directions:

Windows

  1. Click the Dropbox icon in your system tray.
  2. Click your profile picture or initials.
  3. Choose Preferences…
  4. Under Import, check the box next to Enable camera uploads for
  5. Choose Photos only or Photos and videos only.

PROBLEM: there is no box for me to uncheck in step 4. please help

Click Change Autoplay Settings and make sure Dropbox isn't selected for any option.
