Samsung tablet - sync offline files modified using termux

New member | Level 2

Hi,

I have made a series of folders accessible offline on my Samsung Tablet.

I found them in the following folder:

/mnt/sdcard/Android/data/com.dropbox.android/files/u467509/scratch/

I then proceeded to modify some of the files in the subfolders in the terminal (termux) using vim.

Everything works well offline.

However, the modified files don't seem to sync back to the cloud.

What am I missing?

Regards,

Nicolas

Dropboxer

Hello there @nleconte, thanks for dropping by.

When you make content offline, you can access it while you're not connected to the internet.

However, it sounds like you edited a file that was outside of the Dropbox mobile app.

Could you try editing one of the offline files from your Dropbox mobile app and then connect to the internet, to see if the changes are updated?

Let me know how it goes, cheers!
