Save to DropBox can’t upload certain files that work fine through Copy to / Open in DropBox or Drive

Issue: DropBox can’t export certain files such as PDFs or .band when using “Save to DropBox”, but works fine when using “Copy to DropBox” or “Open in DropBox”, or Google Drive.

Demo videos for the below examples are attached in ticket 9359248.

Example 1 steps:
1. Go to a page that when exporting should be converted to a PDF, such as an aspx on docusign.
2. Try exporting using Save to DropBox, and note the error: in Safari it’s “Couldn’t Save Content: Please check your internet connection and try again.” despite no internet connection issue, and in Chrome it’s “An unknown error occurred: Sorry, an error occurred. Please try again later.”
3. Try exporting instead using Copy to DropBox or Google Drive, and notice it’s able to export the PDF successfully, suggesting it’s an issue specific to DropBox’s Save to DropBox feature.

Example 2 steps:
1. Long-tap on a project in GarageBand iOS; on the menu that appears tap Share, then Project.
2. Try exporting using Save to DropBox, and note the error: “Can’t upload file: Sorry, uploading this file type to Dropbox is currently not supported.”
3. Try exporting instead using Open in DropBox or Google Drive, and notice it’s able to export the .band file successfully, suggesting again it’s an issue specific to DropBox’s Save to DropBox feature.

The usual troubleshooting has been tried already, such as reinstallation of all relevant apps, clearing cache, restarting device, ensuring a strong internet connection, trying different internet connections, and ensuring all components are up-to-date (latest versions of DropBox, iOS, Safari, Chrome, GarageBand).

In conclusion, the “Save to DropBox” feature specifically should be investigated to resolve issues preventing certain files from being exported that export fine through other means.
