Hello, 

i need help...

 

i selected that dropbox only saves one of my files. but now it is saving all of my files. how do i stop it from saving everything into dropbox? thank you?

Hey @Xavier Da Enc, thanks for reaching out!

Would you mind clarifying what you did exactly?

Did you install the Dropbox application and even though you chose to sync only certain folders, all of your folders got synced?

Or did you enable the computer backup feature, which backs up your desktop files?

I don't think I enable the computer backup feature(where is that tho?) I believe I just tried to sync one folder and everything got synced

Thanks for the update, Xavier!

If you enabled computer backup, Dropbox would start syncing your Desktop, Downloads and Documents folders from your computer, is this what happened?

If so, you can disable it, by following the steps here.

Otherwise, Dropbox will only save whatever you manually add to the Dropbox folder.

If you don't want certain files to sync to your Dropbox account, you can just move them out of the Dropbox folder, and back to your desktop.
