Screenshot notification directing to Webapp, not local file.

Screenshot notification directing to Webapp, not local file.

New member | Level 2

When capturing a screenshot, I get a handy notification to say that it's saved. However, clicking on that notification then opens a browser to my dropbox to view it there.

I want to open the file saved to my computer!

So, to do this I have to dismiss the notification manually open the dropbox taskbar icon and then open the file from there. Or open the Dropbox folder on my computer and grab it from there.

Is there a setting that I'm missing to disable being sent to the internet to access a file saved on my computer?

(Using Windows 8.1)

Dropboxer

Hi there @Nathaniel T. - thanks for dropping by.

Just to make sure that I have a better visual of this, could you send me a screenshot (without any personal info) of the pop up you get?

Looking forward to hearing back from you!

To clarify. Clicking on this notification will take me to the Drobox website.

I want to go to the file it's saved to on my computer.

I have recently found that clicking the dropbox ICON on the taskbar (shown in the screencap) while this is showing will take me to the folder... but that's a little strange and requires me to be a lot more accurate to avoid the notification bubble.
