Re: Selective sync conflicts

Selective sync conflicts

New member | Level 2

Hi,
I would like to have a folder locally only, without a copy in the cloud.
In the settings in selective sync I disable the folder.
The folder was deleted, but that's not a problem. I create it anew and now the magic begins. Dropbox renames my local folder and sends it to the cloud even though it's not supposed to sync. Deleting it via web causes it to be deleted locally.

How do I make the folder exist only on the local machine?

That trick no longer works. Dropbox now has an Ignore feature.
