Setting Default for LINK expiration date

Setting Default for LINK expiration date

Is there a way to default a LINK's expiration date to a set amount of time? I want all my linked files to have an expiration date of 7 days.

Not in a free-account. But you could make a 'scheduled task" that would either rename or move the files themselves.

What type of account do I need to have to set a default? I am on dropbox PRO.

Rick doesn't realize that you have a Pro account. You can't set a default expiration period for your links. You have to set the expiration each time.

With what type of drop box account can you default links to a 7 day expiration date?

I would like a default expiration for links as well. I share pictures of work completed with customers and i have to remember to remove the links every so often. Any chance on this as a new feature?

As a workaround one could put those files in a folder, then invalidate all of them at once by renaming the folder from <company> to <company>_Done.

Thanks for the suggestion but, i have to keep the pictures with the client files. I could create a second folder but in that case I might as well login and delete the links

Thanks

I would like this functionality, and several other colleagues have expressed interest in a default expiration time too
