Setting up shared folders

Hi

I have several people that I share work with. Some have dropbox and some havent. My problem is I can send a shared folder link to someone by email and they will receive this and open it. They will be faced with "save to dropbox" or "download" if saved to dropbox it saves to the dropbox on that computer which will not be the same account as mine. 

If that person then adds files to the shared folders these do not come back to my dropbox as expected. How do I resolve this.

Basically, I need to be able to share a shared folder with someone and then if they update that folder it updates on my dropbox.

You're using a shared link, which is a view-only method of sharing. Instead, you need to use a Shared Folder.
