Share and unshare changes "modified" date of folders

Share and unshare changes "modified" date of folders

Hi, I have shared a folder previously. However, when I unshared the folder, the folder and sub-folders on my Desktop had their dates modified to the curent date. Why is this so? Is it possible to revert back to the folder dates in the past?

Separately, I noted the modified dates of the folders on Dropbox.com remains the same as in the past. Is there anyway to sync these dates back to my Desktop? Reason being, I need to sort the folder by the dates they were last modified.

Thanks.

Hi @kaycee28

I'm afraid there isnt 😞 without rejoining and recreating the share which may not work anyway.

If you were to download via the website I'm pretty positive you'll end up with the date of the download of the file not when it was last used etc.
