Share recipient does not have immediate access to file

Lately when I share a folder through Dropbox and the recipient receives the email with the link, they do not seem to have immediate access until Dropbox contacts me to accept that they can share. How can I avoid this two part process and just have them share the folder from my 1st share action without have to go through a 2nd permission step.

Hey @Rolando1948; welcome to the Community and thanks for using Dropbox!

I'm sorry to ask, but are they using a Dropbox account that is associated with the email address that you send the link to, or another one perhaps?

While we're at it, can you walk me through the steps you take to share this folder

For example, are you inviting them to the folder directly or are you just sharing a link to the folder with them instead?

Any additional information is more than welcome!
