I'm trying to use a link to allow viewers to view, download, and search a folder. When viewers use the link it asks for them to login. The folder contains PDF documents.
If they don't login, the can browse but can't search.
I'm on a paid DropBox Basic account.

If you used a share link, then it's not requiring them to sign in, but instead is offering them the ability to. They can simply close the modul and continue to the files. If you invited them to a shared folder, then an account is required to access it.

Unfortunately the search ability is limited to users who have signed in. Determined this after working with DropBox support. Would be a great feature if they added it.
