Shared Folder

Shared Folder

Hello!

I'm looking to use Dropbox to share photos/videos with friends. I have them on a shared folder, and whether they have dropbox or not.. they can't seem to save photos/videos to their phone or computer. I gave them viewing access & switched it over to editing access to no avail.. still can't download any content. Is this even possible? Ideally I'd just like to share the album & them be able to save to their camera roll.. Thanks so much!

Hi @chlochlofresh ,

I believe that you mean your uploaded file also appears on your laptop and the file takes up your disk storage. Depending on whether you are using Dropbox Basic or other paid tiers, you may either use Selective Sync or Smart Sync to free up the disk usage.

Selective Sync

Smart Sync (for Dropbox Plus, Family, Pro and Business only)
