Shared folder not visible

I shared a folder with my team and a folder was added to the laptops we are using. I accidentally dragged the folder from the window to the desktop as I wanted to create a link to the folder and since then the folder has disappeared from the laptops. I have reshared but it still doesn't appear. When I log into dropbox I can't see it either.

Any advice on how I can view this folder?

Just to clarify, did you move the folder back into the Dropbox folder, and then re-shared it from there?

Is the app still syncing the addition of the folder back into Dropbox?

You can check the sync status of the app by clicking the Dropbox icon in your system tray/menu bar.
