Shared folder provides unexpected access to other folders

New member | Level 2
New member | Level 2

I created a test share to pass some data files between my self and some co-workers off site. The test share was using my personal Dropbox account and the share with person was my work email.

From my work email connection I could navigate therough all my personal shared data. How do I limit acccess only to the shared directory?

You could see your other files because you were likely logged in as you, so all files in your account would be accessible. It's not possible for others to see the files in your account other than those that youv'e explicitly shared with them.
