Sharing a file to another on a website.

Helpful | Level 6

Want to share a Dropbox file to another user on a website, directly to this user's profile.

Can anyone provide an answer as to how to do this if you only have the website's address, not the one with the profile..?

You can't. When sharing from Dropbox you need to send the shared folder invitation or the file's share link to the email address of the person you wish to share with. There's no way for you to share directly to another website.

You could "reply" to say a facebook posting and paste in a link to your file. But I advise against doing that!
