Sharing folders for others to put content in

Sharing folders for others to put content in

Hi, ive tried searching for this and cant see a clear answer. I run an app and site which has over 200 channels on it, we have a 2TB dropbox plan so these channels can add their content to their folders for us to upload to the app. Each channel has their own folder, we share it and they add content.

But a lot of the channels are saying they are getting a notification saying dropbox full, but obviously we have loads of space in the 2TB account for them to add the content to the folders. What do we or them need to do to stop them being told their storage is full. Thanks in advance for any help...

Since a shared folder's content exists in the account of each member of the share, they need to have enough available space to hold the full content of the shared folder.

They'll either need to upgrade their own accounts for more space, or you can use a File Request to receive files without the need for the sender to have a Dropbox account.

Thanks so much - the file request function is the one!
