Sharing tasks in shared folder

Helpful | Level 6

I have a shared folder but the person I'm sharing with doesn't show when I try to assign a task to them.

Hey @TiffanyP15, can you let me know whether you’re following the steps outlined here? Are you following a different set of steps by any chance?

Any relevant detail would be very helpful, in order to make sure we’re following-up with you correctly. Thanks!

I have the folder shared with cathy... and a document within that folder.

When I click on the @ button for tasks, she does not show up as an option. Do I have to invite her for every document to be able to assign tasks? I wouldn't think so since these other 2 options are there but aren't part of the folder.

Thanks for taking the time to clarify matters for me, including these screenshots Tiffany (TiffanyP15), this has been really helpful!

Now, it’s my understanding that Cathy isn’t following the doc yet & that’s the reason why you can’t @assign tasks to her. Have you by any chance tried to type in @Cathy’s email (e.g. cathybrown... )

Let me know how you get on with these steps & we'll take it form there. Happy Friday!
