I'm having an issue with your website automatically zooming small images to fit the screen when sharing with others. I saw another thread with the same issue and you suggested clearing the cache and trying different browsers. Neither of those work, and I'm sharing with customers for a business so I have no control over which browser they use anyway. Is there a way to disable this?
Hey @AlexE1DFred, thanks for reaching out to us.
Out of curiosity, does this happen when you preview these photos directly from your account?
Also, do you find that they automatically zoom in, regardless of the size or file type?
Keep me posted!
Yes it happens when previewing. The only way to view the original resolution of the image is to download the file and open with Photos on windows. The only photos that zoom are the lower res ones. Anything smaller resolution than the window size will be zoomed and cannot be made smaller than however it is fit to the window. If the photo is large enough to fill the screen then it won't zoom.
Just to make sure that we cover as much initial troubleshooting as possible, could you download the file to see the actual size reported by your computer?
Let me know what you find, @AlexE1DFred!
Thanks for getting back to me on this, @AlexE1DFred.
I understand that the preview on the website isn't ideal, and although there isn't currently an option to change it, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback on this with us.
Is there a specific option you'd like to see being implemented in the future?
Thanks for your swift reply, @AlexE1DFred.
Could you try the following for me?
This should toggle Zoom to fit and View actual size.
Let me know if this helps!
