Smart Sync Local Selection Button is Missing

New member | Level 2
New member | Level 2

I copied a directory and contents that was set for local smart sync. I then edited the files in the new directory. Most of the files now show up as "online only". If I right click on these files and select smart sync, there is an "online" icon and no "local" icon. This happened on two different directories. The copied directories also show up as online with no local icon.

I was editing the files using Autocad. Smart Sync on other directories is working as expected.  Windows 10 Pro

My preferences are set such that files added are local. Also, safe hard drive space is also off. I need to make these new files local.

Hello @dandydon33. Thanks for sharing this issue.

What version of the Dropbox desktop app is giving you this issue?

Have you tried reinstalling?

Thank you!
