Smart Sync Option Missing In Context - ONLY For Some Files

Smart Sync Option Missing In Context - ONLY For Some Files

New member | Level 2

I have a series of files, all in the same folder. Some are smart sycned to online-only. A few are local. I want to make the local ones online-only but the smart sync option isn't available in the context menu for these items. I can't figure out why this option isn't available.

I've tried moving them to different folders. Changing filenames. Nothing seems to give me access to the smart sync option.

Any help would be appreciated.

Dropboxer

Hello there @abcdefgarin, I hope you're having a good day so far!

Can you let me know which plan your account is currently under?

From what I can see, the local file doesn't seem to have the option, but the Smart Synced file does.

It would suggest that your account might have downgraded from one of the plans that have Smart Sync, so you might be seeing the option only for online only files so that you can make them local.

Looking forward to your reply!
