I have a Business Standard account and when I right click on the Folder name and select 'online only' the green tick stays on the 'local' selection. Please let me know whether I need to change some other settings somewhere. thanks,

Would you mind letting me know what the current sync status of the desktop app is showing? If the app is syncing files then this might be why the change can't be applied immediately.
Also, which version of the app do you have installed?
Let me know and we can go from there!
