The message appears when I try to preview .ogg files containing Opus encoded audio.
The message appears both from the android Dropbox app and the Dropbox web app (I'm using Google Chrome on Linux)
Those files play perfectly locally, on every OS i tried (Linux, MacOS, Windows, and Android), usig VLC (VideoLAN Client)
Are those type of files supported by Dropbox? If not, will they eventually be supported? And if so, when?
Thank you.
It should preview as an audio file as long as its below 1gb: https://help.dropbox.com/files-folders/sort-preview/file-types-that-preview

The files I'm trying to preview are well below the 1 GiB limit.
A typical mediainfo(1) textual output for one of them is the following:

Complete name : /home/<my user name>/Downloads/Cottam - Sunrise Sunset.ogg
Format : Ogg
File size : 10.6 MiB
Duration : 10 min 37 s
Overall bit rate : 140 kb/s
Writing application : Lavf58.38.100
Audio
ID : 2161520187 (0x80D62E3B)
Format : Opus
Duration : 10 min 37 s
Channel(s) : 2 channels
Channel layout : L R
Sampling rate : 48.0 kHz
Compression mode : Lossy
Writing library : Lavf58.38.100

I'd suggest sending that in to www.dropbox.com/support so the team can look at it @giorgio1
