How do I stop the Backing up action after my basic dropbox is full, and how do I delete the backed up files? I don't want to buy extra space.
Hi @Loutjie61,
Yes, this so called feature is very annoying. Take a look here. I just explained there exactly what you ask for here. 😉
Hope this helps.
I just tried this myself, and found that dropbox had deleted all the files from my local disk along with the online files.
Very annoying, and now I can't find them in the deleted files list...

Hi @samsiljee,
You did not clarify, what is "this" you have tried!? 🧐 No one of all actions referred above can lead to deletion of any file (what about all).
Did you followed everything exactly or is that you tried something else? 🤔
