Sync problems Windows 10 - Windows 7

I run a Company Windows 10, computer, need to sync with a private Windows 7 computer. Basic, simple stuff, that always worked before - when I go away I need to get to the info I submitted via the private W7 to the Dropbox folders, via my work W10 computer. I tried a lot of things, but they still dont sync with eachother. Got tips, anyone? (A bit disappointed I cant call someone at the Dropbox support company...)

Hey @JohanHW, I'd be more than happy to help!

I'll just need a bit more info on this, such as:

  • How did you upload/update your content from your Windows 7 device? Was it through the website or the desktop app?
  • Do you see the relevant info from the website when you sign in? 
  • Do you get any error messages from either one device?

Any additional details on this would be very helpful. Thanks!

I still don't get the computers to sync.

Maybe there is a glitch between the adresses.

I REALLY need someone to help me - pref. over the phone!

Please help me - this is so tiresome!

I have the same problem. Is the tray unrelated to suspended support for Win 7?

Hey @mindovmd, thanks for joining the topic!

 

Windows 7 is still a supported system for the desktop app, so this shouldn't really be the issue here.

 

Can you let me know a little more info about the issue that you're having? For example, are you adding/editing files to this computer and not seeing them on another device?

 

Also, please let me know what the current sync status of the desktop app shows.
