Sync problems on Win10

After one member of the user group of my account has changed the sync destination (from external deivice to internal disc) the data synch does no longer work.

Reinstallation of the the access doesn't help. The acces to the data is possible online only.

How can we fix it.

 

He has a basic account for private purposes addionally. This private account is used by the dropbox app.

 

How can we fix this? Thanks in advance. Franz

Hi there @franzdwo, let's see what we can do here. 

Could you let me know what comes up when you hover over the Dropbox icon that's next to your computer's clock? 

If you don't see it there, it means that the desktop app isn't running, and you'll have to relaunch it from the applications menu. 

If you see any error messages, please send me a screenshot of them. 

Give me a shout whenever you have any updates on this, thanks!

Dear Lusil,

With the app I use the private account with less work space. I have no problem with my private account.

 

My problem arouse with the access to a account of my friend. He have resended the access mail, but my PC doesn't replicate the online data to my local PC. Thus there is no synchronisation at work.

 

I'm waiting for your suggestions

You are right, it does sound like a syncing issue. 

Could you check if the desktop app is running and what the status is, as I mentioned previously?
