HI. I am sharing folders and files with others and today a co-worker uploaded something, created a new folder ect. but my dropbox is just running - It does not sync so I can see the changes?? It just says "syncing 26 files" and had said so for hours now?

 

If I go to dropbox thrpugh the browser I can see the files and folders, both it does now sync to my computer?

 

Any idea why? Any tips on how to solve it?

Tried to close and reopen Dropbox?

Hi

 

Yes, I have logged off, restarted my computer and log in again and still the same?!

 

The icon down below in menu bar is blue - I think it should be green right?

Not all folders and files are in status Blue or Grey - Most the ones which has been changed today or where files has been added ect. are all blue or grey.

 

I can see them in the browser, but not on my computer folder/files path....

 

It still says uploading 3 files and downloading 26 files when I click on the icon in the menu bar.

If you hover over the Dropbox icon in your menu bar @Wiha, what version of the app does it show there?

Also, is the sync status stuck on the same number of files syncing? Or does there appear to be progress/changes in the sync status?

Hi Daphne

 

I kind of gave up in the end...

 

I tried to update, delete, log in & out ect. but nothing worked.

So I asked my coworker to create a new folder and copy all items in there and now it works without issues and everything is up to date.

 

I have no idea why it dit not work with the other folder.....
