Syncing and deleting files in shared folders

Syncing and deleting files in shared folders

Zutch
New member | Level 2

I use Dropbox folders on remote computer to display images in a slidshow. Whenever i replace an image or delete an image from that folder it doesnt delete on the remote computer for days or sometimes - ever. The only way to get it up to date is to get into the remote computer, pause, and then restart syncing to get it to go. Which is really inconvenient for a remote computer.
Any suggestions

Hi @Zutch - thanks for using Dropbox and welcome to our Community!

Could you please let me know the exact version of the desktop app installed on the remote computer as shown in your system tray/menu bar?

Have you tried reinstalling the app at all on that computer?

Any additional information will be more than welcome!

Is Dropbox installed on a local drive without the use of symlinks or junctions @Zutch ?
