Syncing can't get past certain amount of folders

New computer is trying to sync with an existing dropbox but when it hits about 42,000 files (down from 80,000) it jumps up to the original 80,000 every time. Seems to not be able to get past this point. it has happened 3 times.

Hi @magicman1, thanks for the details.

Do you get any error messages when you hover over the Dropbox desktop app on the system tray/menu bar near the clock?

Are you using selective sync or Smart Sync on your machine? If not the former, can you try using selective sync to only sync one or two 'main folders' down to your machine. Once they're synced, try the next two or three, and carry on until all folders are synced.

If you do have Smart Sync enabled, are the files syncing as online-only, or local?

Keep me posted with any updates!
