Syncing query

Syncing query

I'm looking at returning to use Dropbox as my main cloud storage application. But would like to establish / understand how removing many files at one time impacts the sync process. I'm currently using another platform and on there I have problems when there is inexcess of 1000 files being removed...it ends up in a processing loop (ineffectively doing nothing). I had to reset this and it caused more problems by brining everything (at least 10gb) back onto my main computer. Support is also important - having a response within a couple of hours, is that part of the service?

Hey @marktt, thanks for reaching out!

The Dropbox application doesn't limit you on how many files you can add/delete at a time. Of course, the sync time will be proportionate to the amount of files.

You can always check the sync status of the application, to see how long it will take.

As for the support options, each plan has different ones available, which you can check here.

If you have any questions, let me know.
