Syncing went wrong

Syncing went wrong

So here's the thing, I started to sync dropbox and the laptop. And time went by, I did not felt the need to use dropbox for storage anymore and I deleted it. The next thing you know is that the thing that I synced included the C drive which subsequently deleted my user folder and the "my PC" folder as well, so there's is any possible way to bring it back to my computer as it, as of today, seemed to trap on dropbox, whenever I attempted to even download it back to my laptop, it became a zip file

Hey @HH0111, and welcome to our Community!

I'm sorry to hear you had issues with the Computer Backup feature, can I ask if you've checked your device's trash for files?

Also, when you say you deleted Dropbox, can you clarify if you've uninstalled the Dropbox desktop application, or erased your Dropbox account altogether?

If I were you, I would also check the Deleted files page, just to make sure.

Let me know what you find.

So no, I did only deleted the application on my laptop, not my account. Secondly, the "MyPc" folder is still stuck on dropbox, and I don't know what will happen to my laptop if I delete this file from dropbox.

(The "MyPC" can't be deleted but able to download
and when I attempted to do so, it became a zip file)
