Dropbox synced my dext top which has 12 gigs on it. I didn't want it to. I am trying to delete the folder but there is not option to delete the folder. In videos it shows the delete button at the top. It is not showing any buttons on my screen. It now says that I do not have enough space, which I should have. Please help.

If you're still getting those prompts, could you send us a screenshot so that we can have a visual as well?
While we're at it, did you follow these steps to disable the computer backup feature?

It also says that I can't modify anything until I buy more space and perminantly deleting anything doesn't free up any space. I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else.

Thank you for getting back to me.
I had not went into the backup section and turned off the desktop. I only stopped the sync. It did fix the problem.
During the process it said that permanantly deleting the file would not free up more space. Is this correct. I wanted to free up some space.
