The desktop app isn't syncing automatically

The desktop app isn't syncing automatically

Hello everybody.

I installed Dropbox on my new pc and on my phone. When I add something in a Dropbox folder from my pc, I can see it on my phone.
Instead, if I add a file from my phone, Dropbox on pc shows it to me ONLY if I stop and restart the syncro manually.
So, no files are added to my dropbox pc folder automatically.
On Dropbox.com everything works fine.

How can I do t fix that problem on my pc? I also reistalled the app, but nothing...

Hi @Cloddok, thanks for posting today!

If the Dropbox desktop application isn't syncing automatically, then something might be preventing the app from connecting properly and detecting changes.

Does the app show that it's up to date before you stop and restart the syncing?

There is a possibility that a proxy, VPN, firewall, security software, or even ISP/router issues that could be restricting traffic to the following Dropbox domains.

Could you check each of these on your system and let me know what you find out!

Thanks for the reply!

My mistake: I didn't specify that I've already checked all those things.
Every protection is set to allow all Dropbox processes and the app doesn't tell me if it's up to date, so I think it is.
I mean, I use Dropbox from something like 10 years but it's the first time that I have a problem like this and it's so strange! I hope you can find out a way to help me
