The desktop app on my Windows 10 is stuck syncing, what can I do?

For the past 2 days my dropbox has been stuck syncing. I work for a company that uses dropbox and we have a total of 22 members. We share a lot of files so it is REALLY important for my dropbox to update. 

I am not sure what the problem is, but I have checked my selective sync, and it is set up properly. I have also checked my bandwidth setting and everything looks good there as well. I have signed out, and signed back in, closed the dropbox desktop app and reopened, and I have restarted my computer. 

Nothing is working and the more work I do, the more files have to sync. My version of dropbox is 91.4.548. It shows that I have a total of 142 files to sync and it will take 2+ days to finish syncing. 

I tried to give you any important information I could think of, and if anyone needs to know anything more, feel free to ask. All advice and troubleshooting steps are welcome. Thank you in advance.

First off, awesome work on some of the initial troubleshooting - definitely helps figure out how we can resolve this. 

Could you also try following these steps and see if they do the trick?

I followed the steps, in order. I tried fixing the hardlinks, and the permissions. 

No success.

Thanks for trying those out for me, @MLGSupernoob

Could you also try temporarily disabling your antivirus, as well as checking if there's a third party app, like a security software, hindering the syncing process? 

If there's no change in behavior, try rebooting your computer.

All security softwares and antivirus softwares have been disabled. I also rebooted the computer.

No change.

Out of curiosity, have you seen any progress with the number of files syncing in the meantime, or is it still stuck at 142?

I have seen a difference. 

It shows 6 files downloading now, but it shows 0.0 KB/sec

Have you also by any chance checked your bandwidth settings on your desktop app and changed them to improve the sync speed?
